7NK is a Shakespearean Murder Mystery in 6 Acts.

Commissioned by the Interactive Drama and Entertainment department of the BBC, 7NK was launched to support the 2005 TV ShakespeaRe-Told season.

The plot concerns deranged theatre director, Christopher Morton, who invites actors, critics and you to a remote Scottish island for a re-creation of his disastrous play Seven Nobel Kinsmen. However, soon after arrival the guests start dying in a series of Shakespearean-inspired grizzly deaths.

Conceived and written in collaboration with scriptwriter Will Jewell, 7NK involved detailed research to weave aspects of Shakespeare’s plays into the plot and game. It also involves a novel surprise twist for the player as the game ends…

Mixing mystery, murder, exploration, puzzles and Shakespearean minigames, 7NK has over two hours of play. Six months in the making, it mixes a fully scripted narrative with 3D objects and environments.

“The game is absolutely fantastic. A great and clever plot-line, impressive graphics, and a huge amount of originality. The talented folks at the Littleloud clearly put a lot of time into this… why don’t you pay them back by playing it?”
